Birthstone Mermaid: Aquamarine

"TA DA!" -Aquamarine

Number three on my Birthstone Mermaids project is Aquamarine. She is the official birthstone of March, and is modelled loosely after Sara Paxton, who plays the title character in the Aquamarine film.

Aquamarine is the fastest swimmer of the twelve, capable of outswimming torpedoes. She can jump up to 15 feet out of water. She is considered the athlete, since she swims faster than anything under the sea. The fins on the side allow her to take sharper turns when going full speed.

I guess it's easy being the fastest swimmer when your name symbolizes water.
