She represents “excessive thoughts or desires of a sexual nature.” Lust possesses unmatched physical beauty, and can attract anyone with a simple glance regardless of gender. She has a very beautiful voice, but it has a frightening effect on those who listen. Anyone hearing Lust’s Song of Enchantment is placed in her control, where she will sacrifice them on her behalf, such as sending them in a place they will not survive. She will also cause those under her spell to fight each other to the death, where she will devour the winner. Lust also has razor sharp fins on her tail. When she captures her prey, she wraps her tail around them and drains their life force with her kisses. After getting her fill, she quickly releases her victim, using the blades on her tail to slice them to ribbons.

If you are brave or foolish enough to challenge Lust, you must take the right precautions, or you will not survive. The Silence spell is very effective against her, as it mutes her voice and releases those under her influence. She is aware of her weakness to this spell, and carries Echo Herbs with her to restore her voice. Stealing these is your next priority. Lust won’t hesitate to eat an herb if she can’t sing. If you can’t use the Silence spell (or any abilities that have the same effect), your best bet is to stuff your ears with materials that drown out sound. Lust can’t sing too loudly, or else her song won’t work properly. If you can mute her voice however possible, the advantage is yours!

However, Lust can still sic her entranced minions after you if her voice is working, so be on your guard. Her blades on her tail are sharp enough to cut diamond, so keep your eyes on that tail if you’re going for close combat. Lust, being a mermaid, is highly vulnerable to lightning magic. You can make short work of her with a few lucky shots. Weapons blessed with lightning are also effective.

Lust’s tail was inspired by one of the templates for the Mermaid Maker website sent me. This tail almost makes it look like it’s burning, but I modified it to make it look like saw blades. Each of my sirens will have a different feature that is unique to them, and for Lust it’s the razor fins on the sides of her tail. If she wraps that around you, you’re pretty much a goner, although not right away. She’ll smother you in kisses before she’ll tear you to pieces with the blades on her tail. As for her facial expression, I used one of ’s photos for a reference. I added the wink for effect. She’s motioning her victim to approach while brushing her hair out of her face, which most women do when they flirt. Did you really expect a mermaid representing Lust was incapable of flirting??
