Iíve seen this pop up all over my inbox by a lot of my watchers, several of them talking me into making on myself. After gathering up enough of my pictures, I decided to make one of these myself.
Ariel may be the one pictured, but Disney itself has influenced most of my life. I grew up watching the old Disney cartoons like Gummi Bears and DuckTales. Ariel herself however, has inspired me to create the mermaids that populate my gallery. A lot of them are based on Arielís design, and she is my favorite Disney girl
I may just have pictures of the Mario Bros., but Nintendo in general has inspired me to go the distance on a lot of things. Theyíve shown me that with hard work and dedication, I will be rewarded. Whether thatís a Triforce piece, a princess, an upgrade, or a new picture, Nintendo has taught me never to give up.
She inspired me to create the Seven Deadly Sirens for Halloween last year, especially the image pictured (Mermaid of Avarice). She loved my version of the seven sins as mermaids, and left encouraging comments on each of them. She was the first to pitch the idea of making a virtue set to counter them, which is currently in development. Youíll be seeing those sometime later this month.

I donít have the book pictured, but I do collect his art books. He has been an awesome teacher, and theyíre the first things I look for when I go to the bookstores. His work is amazing! Iíd love to show him the stuff Iíve made using the lessons his books have taught me.
All of them really, especially the ones Iíve done manipulations of. I love the detail they put in their costumes, and they bring the characters to life like never before. Every cosplayer Iíve come across has inspired me some way or another. Pictured here is the awesome
. I love giving all of them backgrounds to suit their cosplays. Theyíve been well received by each of them.

Seeing his account deactivated was heartbreaking, but whenever I draw sailor girls, I honor his memory. His gallery was awesome beyond all reason. Iím sure heíd like the sailor girls Iíve made since heís been gone. This picture comes from a Flash game he made with
, who also is amazing at what she does!
She inspired my Birthstone Mermaids, whose popularity exploded on DA. They doubled my watcher count when the series was finished. I later ended up visiting the series on two more occasions. Her Gemstone Fairies inspired their design (this one being Opal), and I couldnít thank her enough for the inspiration. The completed set of my Birthstone Mermaids was dedicated to her.
8. My watchers
My ever growing number of watchers keeps me going. I reward them with gift art on occasion, and the thank you messages I get in response make me proud to be a deviant! Those types of comments are what I live for, and theyíre the highlight of my day! Leaving encouraging comments on my work also plays a role. Keep them coming, everyone!
My ipod has over 600 songs on it, and all of it comes from video games. They all help add atmosphere on whatever Iím drawing or writing. Iíve got fight songs for villains, heroic themes for heroes, and ominous music for dungeon areas, etc. They also help keep my cool when Iím working on something for school.
