So I’ve been seeing a lot of girls cosplaying as these two characters, and searching them on the Internet yields massive results. Then I met and , who had great photos of their cosplays, and decided they would be fun to draw. I’ve seen some of their previous cosplays, and they’re all amazing! You should check them out sometime.

Panty and Stocking are fallen angels, who must eradicate ghosts from Daten City and collect enough Heaven Coins to return to Heaven. They may be angels, but their personalities are as far from angelic as possible. Panty’s motive is all about sleeping with as many guys as possible. Stocking is constantly snacking on anything sweet. They can turn their underwear and stockings into a gun and sword, respectively.

Despite their attitudes, I’ve seen the show, and some of it’s actually pretty funny. They also poke fun at things, like High School Musical, zombie films, Transformers, Ghostbusters, etc. I’m wondering if they’ll do a video game themed episode in the future, in addition to being drawn as sprites. I think they’d look good as animated pixels.

Had plans for a background, but I turned it down. I might change my mind on that. I worked on this for three hours while watching the series. I was happy with the results.

I’d like to dedicate this picture to (as Panty) and (as Stocking), who inspired me to draw them in the first place.
