Ren's Mermaid

I met a wonderful deviant named . My second portrayal of Opal is what brought us together. Opal is her birthstone, and Ren has told me that Opal is her favorite deviation in my gallery. She even drew her (it was adorable), and is a talented artist. Ever since Opal “introduced” us, she has been a very strong supporter and a wonderful friend. In return for all of this, I transformed her into a mermaid, giving her the tail of a dolphin. She requested a tail of silver, and I thought she’d like a different tail style than I usually make. She made me a wonderful birthday present, so I thought I’d reward her with this picture! Wait till her birthday!!

When she saw my B/W vs. Color picture, she went absolutely crazy, stating the rainbow sword wielded by my color mermaid was “all levels of epic awesomeness.” She went crazy again when I told her she was going to wield it. And what’s better than an epicly awesome rainbow sword? TWO epicly awesome rainbow swords! And she had told me she’s a fan of Harry Potter, particularly the Slytherin group, so I tattooed the emblem on her shoulder. The mermaid is modeled after her, and I think she’d make a great mermaid!

Ren is currently training to be a warrior mermaid alongside Onyx. Her skills with a sword are unmatched. She’s very close to Opal, and protects her whenever Opal goes out to sing to some sailors and defeat sirens. No one under the sea would dare mess with a mermaid armed with the legendary Prism weapons.
