Sailor Mega Gardevoir

Sailor Gardevoir has tapped into her hidden power within her Mega Stone, and undergoes a Mega Evolution.  This raises her base stat total to 618, and gets a serious makeover.  Her Sailor Suit blossoms into an elegant ballroom gown.  Her white boots change into black high heels (which are higher than her boots).  Her gloves and her dress turn black, she gets large gold earrings, her tiara changes to gold, and she wears her Mega Stone on a choker.  This transformation also gives her makeup, and anyone downwind of her can smell her perfume, which smells lovely by the way.  Her dress is also backless, and combined with her short hair, everyone squees when they see her back.

Her weapon also undergoes a transformation.  It changes into the Starburst Rod, which provides the same buffs as the Stardust Rod, but it casts Meteor when used as an item.  It also grants Faith to the user, which magnifies magic damage by 50%.  If she hits you with it, half the damage she inflicts will be added to her magic power.  The staff has a ten-point star at the top of it, and below that is the symbol for the Fairy type from the card game.

Gardevoir is known to the fans for being beautiful, and has been since Gen 3 was released, but its Mega form takes it up to eleven!  Its dress becomes something akin to a wedding dress.  If it didn’t look like a bride before, it certainly does now.  And if you’re one of the lucky ones who managed to get a shiny one, the dress turns black, and it looks amazing!  And as it turns out, I’m one of the lucky ones with a shiny Gardevoir.  And it’s a girl!

It took me about 100 eggs in a week to finally hatch a shiny female Ralts.  Having the Shiny Charm (which you get for completing the National Pokedex, barring Event Pokemon) tripling my odds of encountering shiny Pokemon, and breeding a Gardevoir with a Gallade from another country (fans dubbed this the Masuda Method) definitely made things easier, but it still took me about a week.  And when it hatched, I nicknamed it Serenity, after Sailor Moon’s alter ego Princess Serenity.  Once fully evolved, Serenity was then turned loose in the Pokemon Contests, where her portrait now hangs in the museum at Lilycove in the Beauty division (how fitting).  Two weeks later, she asked me for a shiny boyfriend, and I eventually gave her one.  I'm drawing him next!

Mega Gardevoir is an excellent Pokemon.  It has a higher Special Attack stat than a non-Mega Evolved Mewtwo.  Yes, that Mewtwo.  With a Special Attack stat of 165, magic is sure to leave dents in your opponent’s health.  It doesn’t get a big boost in speed though.  You try running at full speed in five inch heels and a wedding dress and see how fast you run.  If you have magic attacks yourself, good luck trying to punch through a Special Defense of 135.  She's quite vulnerable to physical attacks, but then again, wedding dresses aren't known for their durability.

Upon Mega Evolving, she gains a new move:

Hyper Beam:  Sailor Gardevoir focuses all her magic power into her staff and fires a high intensity beam at her target.  It’s Fairy elemental, due to her Pixilate ability, and it’s 80% stronger than normal.  This attack hurts, and anything weak to Fairy is sure to be obliterated!  Afterwards, she becomes exhausted, and has to rest before she can do anything else.  She saves this move for finishers.
