Sailor Zoroark

Zoroark’s turn!  It is a pure Dark type with a base stat total of 510.  Its only ability is Illusion, which makes the user impersonate the Pokemon at the back of your party.  It copies the ball it was caught in, gender, shininess, and its nickname.  It does not imitate their moves or ability.  If it takes damage through an attack, the disguise comes off.  They have an 8:1 gender ratio favoring males.  Zoroark is based on a kitsune, a mythical fox in Japanese folklore known for being tricksters.

When she enters the battlefield, she will mimic one of her allies or her enemies.  This ability does make her useful for spying on the enemy or causing them to destroy each other.  Thanks to her Illusion ability, she is a master of disguises, and can imitate virtually anyone.  She can even match their voices.  She can’t, however, copy their weapon or moves.  It should come as no surprise that Halloween in her favorite holiday, which is also when she was born.  You’ve probably seen her at conventions, and you weren’t even aware.  She could literally be anyone or anything.  I can tell when she’s in disguise, but I’m not telling my secret, nor will I mention how to spot Sailor Ditto in a crowd.

Her weapon is an Imp Knife, from Dragon Quest 8, though I colored it darker so it would match closer to Zoroark’s color scheme.  It’s the only item you can create with a Devil’s Tail and not result in a cursed item.  It takes some MP from your target if your attack lands.  I chose to give her a knife because the Dark type is known to fight dirty (hence why in Japan it is called the Evil type), and you can’t fight much dirtier than jumping from out of nowhere and put a knife to someone’s throat.  She was given the same hairstyle as her namesake, which stretches all the way behind her knees.

Attacks:

Night Slash:  Sailor Zoroark strikes from the shadows and goes for the enemy’s weak spot.  It has a high critical hit chance.

Foul Play:  Sailor Zoroark grabs her target, lifts them up, and slams them into the ground.  This attack deals damage not based on her strength, but the strength of her target.  The stronger her target, the more damage it does.

Night Daze:  Sailor Zoroark fires a dark shockwave at her target.  It frequently clouds their vision, reducing their accuracy.
