Don't worry, guys.  I don't have it.  I'm just sick of hearing about it all the time.

The government says "You need to stay home to protect yourself from this plague."

Meanwhile, the stores are LOADED with people from all over town buying all the Lysol spray, wipes, hand sanitizer and TP like it might burst into flames if you don't buy it.  I haven't seen our store with that many empty shelves since before it opened.  And I work at a grocery store; I've seen this madness up close.  All last week, it felt like everyday was Friday, because we had the entire town grab everything we had all week long.  If we restocked the shelves, it would be picked clean in seconds.  I'm not kidding.  We even changed our hours of operation, just so we can sanitize everything without risk of being trampled. 

This is out of control.  We don't even panic like this when the Weather Channel says it will snow.  On the other hand, if they did say it would snow last week, we wouldn't even have walls in our store, much less anything else.  It would just be a bunch of us desperately holding the ceiling up so it doesn't crush us.

I was supposed to visit my sister in Georgia, but the quarantine put a stop to that.

Thankfully, it has died down a lot compared to last week.  We can actually keep things on the shelf for a few hours now.  Our usual Friday sales are called off as well.  It feels great to go to work on a Friday and not hate my life.  Fridays used to be days that I would dread because I was there all day without enough help.  Coming home those nights I feel like I was run over by a few trains.  You would be too if you walked 15-22 miles in a nine-hour shift.

I want this outbreak to die.  I want to be able to go places besides work.  I want my life back.

On the other hand, staying at home all this time has given me more time to play video games and draw.  No complaints from me.

How are you guys handling the quarantine?

Been really busy with work and getting my Mario Maker 2 levels up and running.

Some of these levels will have associated artwork, and they will not be up until I get the levels done and uploaded.  That way you guys can get the code and hopefully enjoy them.  I've revamped my older levels from the first game, and made a few new ones.  I've bought the online service for just such an occasion.  The artwork is done. but the levels have to be tested some more before I can post them and their included codes.  I just need a little more time.

And I've played the hell out of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.  I have plans of drawing Miriam, as well as a boss I won't mention here until later.  I need to make sure I have the right materials for the job before that character is drawn.  My god Bloodstained was so much fun!  I managed to grab a sword that swings without forcing you to stop, and you can attack as fast as you press the attack button.  Then near the endgame, I upgraded it.  Now I get four quick swings with one button press.  That thing destroys bosses in no time.  Boss rush was finished in less than three minutes, and this was on Hard difficulty!  I even managed to 100% the game.

Is Fire Emblem: Three Houses any good.  I've not been able to find a copy lately.  I'm not exactly losing sleep over it.  It would only be the fourth game in the series I've played, and I don't consider myself a huge fan of the series.  

As for Hero in Smash?  Holy crap is he powerful!  I enjoy playing the Hero from Dragon Quest 3 the most.  That is my favorite Dragon Quest game, and is the very reason I fell in love with the series.  If you haven't played it yet, what are you waiting for?

Nintendo wins yet again.

The Hero Draws Near!

They had my attention once they announced the Hero from Dragon Quest 11 as a playable character for Smash.  Hearing the series main theme play made me tear up.  But then I saw the other heroes from the third, fourth, and eighth games.  Dragon Quest 3 holds a special place in my heart.  It was the game that made me fall in love with the series.  And to see its main character in Smash got me excited.  I definitely want to fire the game up soon.

Dragon Quest 11 comes out this fall!

Excited!  People have been posting pictures from the PS4 version all over Facebook, and it kills me that I can't play it.  In a few months, I'll be playing it, and it will all be worth it.

Collection of Mana

No longer Japanese exclusive.  And for the first time, it's coveted third installment sees the light of day outside Japan.  That game is getting a remake soon, and I'm excited about this one as well.  I've wanted to play it for a while, and now I get to in its original format.  I've already put a few hours in it already, and I'm loving it.

Violet:  My name is Violet

Azalea:  I’m Azalea

2.  Do you know why you are named that?

Violet:  Mother wanted to name us all after flowers

Azalea:  And she picked out our favorite colors, giving us a flower name that matched the color we liked.

Dahlia:  My name means “femme fatale.”  Would you like a demonstration?

Calytrix:  My father picked out my name.  When I saw the flower I was named after, I thought it was pretty.

Queen Malanite:  I was named after a gemstone.  Apparently that’s a trend.

 

3.  Are you single or taken?

Everyone:  Single

Queen Malanite:  Though I have been married before.  Lots of times actually.  When my husband no longer satisfies me, I drain his soul and look for a new one.

 

4.  Have any abilities or powers?

Violet:  My magical abilities are beyond compare.  I can use any element at my disposal, and I can hit for lots of damage.  Flipping my hair gets people to fall in love with me and do whatever I say.

Azalea:  I have healing abilities and buffs at my disposal.  I can make my family stronger and tougher than ever, while keeping them healed.

Dahlia:  I’m a crack shot with my gun, and I can fight pretty well with my bare hands.  My strength is unmatched!

Calytrix:  I very fast on the field, and can hit like a truck whether I use magic or physical attacks.

Queen Malanite:  I can make potions to do anything I please; I’m a skilled fighter on the battlefield no matter what my fighting style is.  My weapon can become anything I want, and I can use it like a master.  In addition, all of us get stronger with everything we kill.

Violet:  Thanks to my glamour spell, they’re a beautiful shade of purple

Queen Malanite:  Black with red irises.  Yes, that’s my natural eye color.  That’s all my daughters’ eye colors as well without Violet’s glamour spell.

Violet:  Black as night.

Azalea:  Red.

Dahlia:  You seriously can’t tell that my hair is blonde?

Calytrix:  Auburn; a perfect mix of my parent’s hair colors

Queen Malanite:  Dark red.

Queen Malanite:  Each other.  They are all my daughters.

Violet:  I hate whenever my makeup runs, or whenever I get a blemish on my perfect and beautiful face.

Azalea:  I hate when someone hurts my family.

Dahlia:  I hate a lot of things, but nothing pisses me off more than when my victim refuses to fall over.

Calytrix:  I hate the ones who killed my family in my world.  Yet it was so satisfying cutting them down.

Queen Malanite:  The Pokémon Senshi and their leader.  They constantly foil my plans to conquer Alola.

 

11.  Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

Violet:  I like singing and dancing.  I’m also pretty good at ASMR. 

Azalea:  I like spending time with my sisters no matter what they do.

Dahlia:  I like to train.  Nothing relieves tension like beating up a punching bag until it bursts, or shooting things until they burst.

Calytrix:  I practice my swordplay a lot. 

Queen Malanite:  I like reading.  Usually I’m learning new spells, other times I’m reading romance novels, or anything else I can find.

Everyone:  Yes.

Violet:  I can turn into a snake.

Azalea:  Probably a bear.  Mess with my family, and you will die

Dahlia:  A lioness.  I like to hunt.

Calytrix:  I’m like a wolf; strong, fast, and protects the family

Queen Malanite:  Black Widow Spider.  That’s not a figure of speech.

 

15.  Name your worst habits.

Violet:  I cannot pass a mirror without looking at myself.  I’m very vain.

Azalea:  I trust no one dating either of my sisters.

Dahlia:  My temper is hard to control at times.

Calytrix:  Once I go on a killing spree, it’s nearly impossible to get me to stop. The thrill of battle and getting stronger with each fallen victim is exhilarating!

Queen Malanite:  I keep losing to those Pokémon Senshi and their leader.  Why haven’t I decided to attack a region they don’t live in?

 

16.  Do you look up to anyone at all?

Violet:  My mother.  I want to be just like her in every way:  tall, dark, and beautiful. 

Azalea:  My family.  I will protect them with my dying breath.

Dahlia:  My sisters.  I’m always in good hands when we travel together.

Calytrix:  My father.  He was always there for me since I was a baby, and gave my anything I wanted.  I miss him dearly.

Queen Malanite:  No, but I do love all my daughters unconditionally.

 

17.  Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?

Violet:  I’m bisexual.  My victim’s gender makes no difference to me.

Azalea:  I like men, as long as they behave around my sisters.

Dahlia:  I also like men, but I’m not interested in a relationship.

Calytrix:  I’m also bisexual.  Both genders please me.

Queen Malanite:  I’m interested solely in men.

 

18.  Do you go to school?

Everyone:  *laughs wickedly*

Violet:  Mother cast a spell on us.  My sisters and I can never bear children.  She doesn’t want to be a grandmother.  Then again, neither of us want kids or a significant other anyway.

Queen Malanite:  If I can find someone powerful, I’d gladly take him.  The leader of the Pokémon Senshi is kind of handsome.  According to Calytrix, she actually is our daughter from another timeline.  I’m sure we could make more.

 

20.  Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

Violet:  They come running whenever I flip my hair or start singing.

Azalea:  Unlikely.

Dahlia:  Probably not.

Calytrix:  If I kiss or flirt with someone, they become my fans, no questions asked.

Queen Malanite:  My subjects are my fans.

 

21.  What are you afraid of?

Everyone:  Light magic.

 

22.  What clothes do you usually wear?

Violet:  A backless halter top or crop top with a two layered miniskirt.  I never leave the castle unless I wear high heels of at least five inches.

Azalea:  A tank top dress that is diagonally cut and knee boots with four inch heels.  I always wear my hair in a ponytail.

Dahlia:  A t-shirt dress with short boots.  The heel is 2-3 inches.

Calytrix:  An off-the-shoulder top with a miniskirt and a showgirl skirt over it, and over-the-knee boots with a 4-5 inch heel.  They’re not armored unless I’m fighting. 

Queen Malanite:  A backless cold shoulder black dress with a slit on the side.  It goes well with my six inch platform heels.

 

23.  What’s one food that tempts you?

Violet:  I like fruits.  They make my magic a bit stronger.

Azalea:  Salads for me.  They make me tougher.

Dahlia:  Meat.  It’s better if I’ve hunted and killed it myself.

Calytrix:  I’ll eat meat as well, though I do have a bit of a sweet tooth.

Queen Malanite:  I don’t have a favorite food.  If it’s good with wine, I’ll eat it.

Everyone:  High class!  We’re royalty!

 

25.  What are your thoughts on pie?

Everyone:  Meh.

Violet:  Any kind of beer, as long as it’s from the top shelf.  I could drink it for days and not get drunk.

Azalea:  I like martinis, cocktails, and tea. 

Dahlia:  Vodka and energy drinks for me.

Calytrix:  I’ll drink anything alcoholic or coffee. 

Queen Malanite:  Wine!  I go through at least a bottle a day.

Violet:  My bedroom or the bar.

Azalea:  The training hall.

Dahlia:  The shooting range or the gym.

Calytrix:  My bedroom, or the gym. 

Queen Malanite:  Anywhere in my castle.  I can see everything that goes on there.

Violet:  I’m interested in everyone.  One flip of my hair and everyone loves me.

Azalea:  Not at this time.

Dahlia:  Nope.

Calytrix:  Yes.  Once I enter a room, all eyes are on me.

Queen Malanite:  That young man who leads the Pokémon Senshi.  There’s something about him that gets my attention.

Violet:  Definitely the ocean.  I’ve got a bikini that will make everyone fall in love with me even without flipping my hair or wearing heels.

Dahlia:  Ocean.  I love going for a swim.

Calytrix:  I love the ocean the most.

Queen Malanite:  I suppose the ocean.  There’s something about the sound of the waves crashing I love.

Violet:  As long as they’re beautiful, I don’t care what they are.

Azalea:  Tall, dark, and handsome.

Dahlia:  Someone tough enough to withstand my beatings.

Calytrix:  Anyone really.  Being bisexual has its perks.

Queen Malanite:  I like my men from powerful races; the stronger the better.

Dahlia:  She’s interested in any man who can survive getting beaten by her.  Literally.  She beats them up, and takes their energy afterward from their blood. 

Calytrix:  She is bisexual.  Kissing either men or women allows her to steal their life energy.  Her perfume is mixed with an aphrodisiac, and it draws them to her like moths to the flame.

Queen Malanite:  Obviously she’s into men.  How else could she bear four children?  She’s been married multiple times.  She steals life energy by killing her victims, or it is given to her from her subordinates.

Violet:  She is very vain, taking longer than her sisters at putting on makeup.  She loves brushing her hair.  She believes her hair is her best feature, and goes to great lengths to keep it beautiful.  Otherwise, she can seduce them with her magnificent body.

Azalea:  She keeps all her hair bands on a rack on her vanity mirror.  She lets her hair down only when she’s bathing or sleeping.  She never has any hairstyle other than the ponytail.  She doesn’t want it in the way when fighting.

Dahlia:  She’s kind of a tomboy.  Other than her eye shadow, she hardly wears any makeup or perfume.  She keeps her hair short so it doesn’t get in her face when fighting.  She has a hair trigger temper.

Calytrix:  Her hair is the longest out of the family.  The color is a blend of my hair and her mother’s hair.  She is also the most buxom of her sisters.  She was very close to her father, as she was the only family he ever knew.

Queen Malanite:  She is also vain, taking longer than anyone when applying makeup and deciding which dress to wear.  She has lots more dresses than what I’ve drawn in her wardrobe.  Black dresses are her favorites to wear.

Violet:  She loves wearing high heels.  If they are five inches or higher, she’s happy.  She will not settle for anything less.  She can even wear her mother’s platform heels.

Azalea:  She favors wearing knee length boots, with a heel of four inches.  She prefers boots over standard shoes.

Dahlia:  She can wear high heels, like the ones Violet has, but she prefers wearing the smaller heels at 2-3 inches.  She likes sneaking up on her victims, which high heels would make very difficult

Calytrix:  She loves shoes of any kind, her favorites being over-the-knee boots.  Her preferred height for the heel is 4-5 inches.

Queen Malanite:  She wears platform heels, and always at six inches or higher.  She refuses to wear anything else on her feet.  She doesn’t even like going barefoot.  She loves the sound of her heels clicking in the halls of her castle.

Violet:  Her codename is Siren.  As such, she has a beautiful singing voice to put people under her spell, just in case flipping her hair or her body language isn’t enough.  If that doesn’t do the trick, she can dance around a pole.

Azalea:  Her codename is Protector.  She will defend her family from harm no matter what.  Her defenses, healing abilities, and her skill with a shield are not to be underestimated.

Dahlia:  Her codename is Huntress.  She has a gun, a short temper, great aim, and a lot of physical strength.  You do the math.

Calytrix:  Her codename is Warrior.  She is very aggressive on the battlefield whether she uses magic or melee, and is very fast as well.  She is driven by her father’s race, who loves fighting, and the Ultra Beast’s ability to get stronger with each kill.

Queen Malanite:  Her codename is Queen.  Everyone in Ultra Space follows her orders, or risks being obliterated.  She is easily its most powerful resident, just like how the queen piece in Chess is the strongest piece in the game.

Violet:  Her name comes from not only the flower, but the purple colors on her outfit.  The flower is also used to make perfumes.  It is also used to show the love between women, hence why she is bisexual.

Azalea:  The flower she is named after comes in various shades of red and pink.  That was also her color scheme, so the same stuck.  The flower is also very poisonous.

Dahlia:  One of the meanings for this flower name was “femme fatale,” which means deadly woman in French.  She has a gun and immense physical strength.  This name was perfect for her.

Calytrix:  Her name comes from a genus of flowers, not the name of an actual flower.  The flowers that inspired her name are mostly bluish purple in color.  The flowers are native to Australia.

Queen Malanite:  Her name comes from the prefix “mal,” which means bad, and melanite, which is a black gemstone part of the garnet family.  Naming her after a gem was inspired by the villains from Sailor Moon.

Violet:  She is the eldest of Queen Malanite’s daughters, and was intended from the beginning to be the sexy one.  That’s why her outfit is a backless halter top that shows her midriff, a two layered miniskirt, and high heels. 

Azalea:  Her dress was inspired from Celestria’s Gown from Dragon Quest 9.  This robe greatly boosts your healing abilities, and also recovered your health a little each turn.  This inspired me to make her a supporter, and to give her boots.

Dahlia:  Her dress is based on a t-shirt style dress, lengthened to be at the knees.  She was intended to be the violently aggressive one.  She is not interested in looking for love, but she is very interested in spilling their blood.

Calytrix:  Her dress was inspired by some very beautiful off-the-shoulder dresses I’ve seen women wear, and had Calytrix wear it to hide her wild rose tattoos on her arms.  The dress is actually two layers, a miniskirt on the lower layer, and a showgirl skirt partially wrapped around the belt.

Queen Malanite:  Her dress was designed to be sexy, like any villainess should be.  It’s backless (which I love), it’s cold shoulder (which lots of women wear nowadays), it has a slit showing her long legs (and at 7’6”, her legs are beautiful), it comes with long gloves that go past the elbow, it shows a little cleavage, and it ends with a pair of platform heels.  Top that, America’s Next Top Model!
